Shea Whigham taks about his roles on movies and TV shows and how he likes to really get into character.

 "It's always about the project itself than a character for me", says the actor who is always in low public profile despite his better acting skills, Shea Whigham. He does not have relation with public; nobody asks him for an autograph or wants a photo with him.

Whigham refuses for the interviews as he wants to utilize that time in experimenting with his character. With almost every role, Whigham takes new looks, sometimes he is unrecognizable. His face seems to look different with his every new character. He experiments with his bear and hair styles for every new look which takes him into character and out of this real-world.

The experimenting actor does not have a big fan following. But he is that kind of actor whom you can easily miss until you realize you have not missed him at all. Despite his indie and big budget movies, he is still on a low public profile.

Forty-seven years old Whigham seems to be a slow poison that is going to be in audience heart slowly and steadily through his experimental acting looks and his dedication and unique attitude of working.

Florida-born actor graduated from the State University of New York, where he was a part of a small acting program with only 31 students and a graduating class of only 8 seniors.

Whigham in his young age founded the New York City theater troupe The Rorschach Group with his college roommate Kirk Acevedo and worked as an actor and an artistic director with the troupe for three years.

Whigham landed in acting when he appeared in one episode of the television series Ghost stories. He got his first starring role in the movie Tigerland. Even he has worked in the Japanese film Out Of This World and the drama TV shows Medical Investigation, Man of the House, Faith of my father, lords of Dogtown, Psychic Driving, etc.

Whigham is mostly remembered for his regular role as Elias (Eli) Thompson on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire. In 2015, Whigham appeared as a police officer for the music video for the Run the Jewel song Close Your Eyes.

Whigham has been working as a series regular in 7 episodes in the series Agent carter. The actor portrays his every character drowning in it. And he always appears in front of the audience with a new taste.
