Shania Twain Says Sorry After Saying She Would Have Voted For Trump

Shania Twain feels sorry for saying She would have voted Trump In 2016 election even she thinks he was offensive.

 

On April 22, 2018, the Guardian published a long interview in its paper who is supposed to embark on her new tour that will start next week. In the first paragraph, the singer-songwriter discusses her divorce from her estranged husband to longtime collaboration partner Robert Lange including her traumatic upbringing.

Reading in the second to last paragraph the country-pop superstar revealed that if she was eligible back in 2016 election that she will support and vote Trump.

“I would have voted for him because, even though he was offensive, he seemed honest, the Canadian singer says. “Do you want straight or polite? Not that you shouldn’t be able to have both. If I were voting, I just don’t want a bull, I would have voted for a feeling that it was transparent. And Politics has a reputation for not being that, right?”

Her Statement went viral and didn’t please many Twitter users that started hashtag Twaincancelled.

After seeing that her fans were against her decision she quickly tweets one after another tweet explaining the whole statement in details.

 

 

She apologized on Sunday night that she made an awkward comment and regrets not adding more context.
