Series turned Movie: James Roday and Dule Hill offers First Look at 'Psych: The Movie'
The comedy series turned movie titled Psych: The Movie, the two-hour holiday miracle stares James Roday who appears as a fake psychic detective Shawn Spencer and Dule Hill as his best friend, Burton "Gus" Guster, picks up after the three years of the series finale.

Hill explained:
From the time the show ended, the movement had started about getting a Psych movie on the way. So, I was looking forward to what [creator] Steve [Franks] and Roday would come up with next. I knew it was going to be something that was going to be full of hijinks and fun and light drama.
Hill reveals that the movie was about the Gus and Shawn visiting a planetarium and they moved to San Francisco. He explains that the fans would be able to see the return of their favorites like John Cena as Ewan O'Hara, Timothy Omundson as Carlton Lassiter, Corbin Bernsen as Henry Spencer, Ralph Macchio as Logan Phelps, Maggie Lawson as Juliet O'Hara and Kirsten Nelson as Chief Vick.
Hill says that the movie has a bunch of familiar faces. He adds;
Pick from any season, and you're going to see somebody show up who you've loved over the course of the series. And I know the fans are going to get a thrill out of seeing what Zach Levi brings to the Psych world."
There are so many faces in the movie that Roday was quite nervous if he just can't get everyone's names right.
When it came to working on Psych: The Movie, Roday and Franks claimed that they had no any problem planning it all out. Roday explains that just he got pitched about the whole story he was like "Dude!I am in".
