Ryan Piers Williams married to 'Ugly Betty' star America Ferrera, Williams first met his wife when he cast her in his student film

Ryan Piers Williams has topped the chart of highest paid actors of 2015 with the total income of $58 million. Well, this was reported in certain section of news site. What do you think? Naaahhh! this media report was just a stupid hoax posted to fool or may be to amuse public by a news site that publishs ‘fake’ news to the masses. Actually the current net worth of American actor-filmmaker, Williams is $3 million.

Williams who is best known for his work on X/Y (2014), The Dry Land (2010) and Ocean's Twelve (2004) is married to ‘Ugly Betty’ star America Ferrera.  Ferrera who is of Honduran descent was as born and raised in Los Angeles.

The now-happily married couple first met each other, when Williams cast her in a student film at the University of Southern California.

Recently, the husband-wife duo recently celebrated their 10th anniversary. Ferrera shared their wedding photo in her twitter and Instagram with a caption, “Ten year anniversary with my love.” Williams went one step further by tweeting, “Happy to be celebrating ten years of love with this fine lady.” Indeed, love is in the air for this lovey-dovey couple!!

The couple after becoming engaged in 2010 had exchanged the vows a year later. The Emmy winning actress wore a very gorgeous looking white bridal gown and eye catchy earrings. They both looked stunning in their wedding photograph.

Williams, also a writer has written several movie scripts. And while he was in college, he directed various short movies as well.  His actress wife Ferrera has starred alongside him in his 2014 venture X/Y.  While writing the script of the movie, he never had intention of casting Ferrera as the leading lady of the film. But eventually she ended up being the ‘one’.

Earlier this year, Williams and Ferrera were seen together attending the 87th annual Academy Awards. Williams, 34 and Ferrera, 30 walked the red carpet supporting Ferrera’s movie “How to Train Your Dragon 2” which was nominated under the category of Best Animated Movie.

The husband and wife who prefer maintaining low-media profile are always supportive of each other.

Recently, he extended his support to his wife when Ferrera, joined the criticism against US Republican Presidential hopeful Donald Trump by penning an open letter to Trump. In her letter, she sarcastically “thanked’ Trump for his “incredibly ignorant and racist” remarks he made during his speech while announcing the presidential candidacy.

“Thank you for reminding us that there remains an antiquated and endangered species of bigots in this country that we must continue to combat. Thank you for reminding us to not sit complacently at home on election day, but to run to the polls and proclaim that there is no place for your brand of racial politicking in our government. Thank you for sending out the rallying cry.”, writes Ferrera in her open letter.

Well, it's worth mentining that Ferrera was praised in the US House of Representatives for her Golden Globe Award win and work raising the profile of Latinos.
