Ricky Garard Banned for four years from CrossFit Games
Everyone knows that CrossFit makes several definitive tests of fitness and labels its champions as the fittest on the Earth. They have proved their words for Ricky Garard who has now been confiscated of his bronze medal from the 2017 CrossFit Games.
One of the most high-profile CrossFit athletes, Ricky Garard, have failed a doping test. Now, he is banned from competing in CrossFit sanctioned events until 2021 and must return US$76,000 prize money.

Patrick Vellner was promoted to the third place, and two other competitors from the men's and women's master's events also failed the dope tests.
Sources claim that Testolone and a beta-2 agonist known as endurobol, both anabolic agents were found in Garard's samples.
Justin Bergh, the general manager of the CrossFit Games, added that Gerard’s case does not appear to be accidental. He said:
Historically, the most frequent causes for a failed test have been masters, athletes, failing to read and accept our policy for hormone replacement in competition, and individual and team athletes using supplements containing banned substances not found on labels.
A member of Hong Kong's Coastal Fitness Team, Ali Reece who won CrossFit's Asia Regional Qualifiers added:
To be honest, I'm not overly surprised CrossFit does have drug testing at regional and Games level, but there are probably lots of rumors and suspicions around some athletes.

Garard finally spoke up towards all the headlines made on his disqualification and ban from the games. He replied that he has obviously taken all the rules and boundaries to the very edge.

Garard furthermore added that he took the same supplements at The CrossFit Games that he received at The Pacific Regionals. He time and again said that he did not make any unfair advantage over others and the games.
