Australian actress Rebecca Breeds is best known as Ruby Buckton in the soap opera Home and Away.

It was on the sets of Home and Away where she had met her husband Luke Mitchell. Breeds began dating her co-actor in the series since 2009. After being in a relationship, in May 2012, the couple announced their engagement. They decided to tie their knot after four years of dating in a country ceremony Down Under in January 2013.

The Home and Away stars moved to Los Angeles after their series ended. The couple does not have any children yet. However, in an interview with news.com.au, when asked how long the couple plans to stay in America, Rebecca had replied that she would return to Australia to have kids.

“Eventually, we’re going to want to have babies and that’s really helpful to be near family,” Rebecca said.

Together over 7 years, Luke and Rebecca are living a very happily married life. Her husband, Luke never seems to leave a chance to surprise her. On Valentines’ day, Rebecca was gifted with a huge bouquet of flowers which she shared on her Instagram.  She had captioned the picture saying:

“Ummm……So I think he loves me….@likemitchell17 Wow…You’re the best and I’m SO blessed to be your wife. Happiest of V -day lovers. Xxx”

The couple is frequently seen sharing snaps with each other on Instagram and Twitter. They are often spotted together publicly holding hands and so in love.

Rebecca and Luke, who had played Ruby Buckton and Romeo Smith respectively in the 2012 series Home and Away, have been forging successful careers in Hollywood since then.

Rebecca has been professionally active since the year 2000. She appeared in several television commercials and made guest appearances on series Water Rats. She made her big screen debut with the 2008 Australian movie Newcastle as Leah Pointin, the lead character.

Since then she appeared in numerous movies and TV shows. Some of her notable works include her role as Cassie Cometti in Blue Water High, Abby Russo in We Are Men, Nicole Gordon in Pretty Little Liars and Aurora de Martel in The Originals.

She has also appeared in the 2013 Hindi language Bollywood movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag as Stella.

Rebecca re-launched herself in the Australian industry in 2016 with the portrayal of Molly Meldrum’s fiancée Camille in the television miniseries Molly.

Australian actress Rebecca would soon be seen playing the title character, Miranda Coale in the television series Miranda’s Rights in near future.  The announcement was made on 19 February 2016.

Actress Breeds has received several nominations for her intense portrayal in the show Home and Away. She has even won a Logie Award in the category of most popular actress in 2010 for Home and Away.
