Nicola Walker, age 45, talks about married life with her husband

Nicola Walker, the British Television star, has recently talked about her married life with her husband, who calls her a grumpy lioness in public. The grumpy lioness has admitted to not being comfortable talking about her husband and family and wanting to protect them from the sometimes cruel world of showbiz. But as of now, she has opened up about her family.

According the interview she gave to Express UK, the TV show star, who has played a variety of compelling roles in many TV shows, has said that at the age of 45, she knows her strengths and will not talk to much about her family to protect them. Although, she has given some information regarding her family’s holidays and recent expeditions.

She has admitted to being a bit jealous of her husband as he gets to travel to exotic places such as Morocco and Australia. She has also added that her husband is amazing as he has turned down work to see that they are both are not working at the same time according to some sources.

Since 2012, she has spent a large part of her life away from her husband Barnaby Kay and her children when she took the job for the movie Last Tango in Halifax. According to our sources, she has said that she did feel a bit guilty taking the role, but didn’t know that the filming was going to last for three years. She also admitted to having missed her family, especially her son Harry and her sister.

 Sources say that she would like to do more movies in her career, but always has to make the choice between her family and work. Most of the times, family wins the battle.

Nicola Walker is known for staring in British television since 1990, largely known for the role of Ruth Evershed in the spy drama Spooks from 2003 to 2013. She had developed quite a fan base during the screening of the show. She has also worked in theater, radio and film. She is also famous for her role in the movie Four Weddings and A Funeral.  

She was born in London and has lived most of her life there. She is a Cambridge graduate and according to sources, her supportive parents have been a key figure in her pursuing a career as an actor. She got her first major role in 1997 in a TV drama.

She has been nominated for so many prestigious awards such as the BAFTA TV Award, Satellite Award. Shehas won the Laurence Oliver Award for the Best Supporting Actress in a Supporting Role. She has had a great career in the industry and is regarded as one of the best TV Actors of her generation.

The English actress is estimated to have a net worth of $15 million pounds, which is expected to rise significantly as many of her movies and TV shows are yet to be aired.
