It is none other than Michele Marsh.

Now don’t get all confused!! We are talking about former New York television news anchor Michele Marsh. Michele Marsh and Michelle Marsh are two different persons and if you are still confused, then check the spelling of their names. You will find additional ‘l’ in one of them. Our Marsh is Michelle with two ‘L’ and the Marsh, who inspired her, is Michele with just one ‘L’.

Now keeping the jokes aside, let us find out how Michele Marsh inspired Marsh to be where she is now. Well, Marsh always knew that there was a famous news anchor in her hometown with the same name. And it was then that she knew that she was destined to become a news anchor just like Michele.

“That’s what got the bug in my head that ‘Oh, maybe there is this career where I could deliver the news,’ ” Marsh said. “That’s where it initially started.”

She followed her dream and graduated magna cum laude from the S.I. School of Public Communications with a B.S. in broadcast journalism. And it was after that Marsh rose as a talented and promising news anchor of her generation.

“It is a career that can take you to various cities,” she said. “You meet very interesting people who have unique stories to tell,” she said about how one gets to see different places and meet different people as a journalist.

This lady of our, has won several awards and recognition for her work. She has received praise for her investigative reports and has even earned four Emmy nominations, including Best Reporter.

“What inspires me is, knowing that there are other stories to be told. There are a lot of folks who have important messages to share, but they don’t necessarily have the outlet to do so. The media still serves that purpose of giving a voice to the voiceless,” she said.

This beauty with potential and talent is already doing great job in WJLA-TV and we would like to wish her all the best for her further career.
