Many Female UFC fighters get paid around $12000, And Ring Girls Take Away a Whopping Million, Know What's Going on?

UFC has time and again been dragged into several controversies, Its a very beautiful game indeed, but is surrounded by a lot of controversies. Time to time, we have heard many suspicious things about the sports. Controversies like, Over Hyping a person of interest, Giving more importance to big names, unmanaged scoring, even bad refereeing has been in news time and again. It's a combat sport, but here is one ironic thing that you need to know, "Ring Girls Play cheque is bigger than that of the Real Fighters".

How many of the UFC fighters we know are millionaires? Let's not dig into it, but here is an interesting fact, your favorite ring girl Arianny Celeste, has collected a million dollar worth. Here is the list of things that their contract allegedly includes:

1) They don't have to know what's going on?

The UFC pay rate was once publicly criticised by former champ Ronda Rousey, and she even had said that some of the Ring Girls were paid more than fighters in many instances; let's have a look at what she had to say in her own words:

I don’t know if the ring girls get paid too much or the fighters don’t get paid enough, but, yeah, there’s definitely a lot more in what the fighters do than what they do. So, I think that’s one thing that’s unfair.”

But this is not the case with Celeste! If you have noticed, she has boosted her earnings with a number of deals. As she has a made a good portfolio so far. Celeste started her career as a UFC Octagon Girl in 2006  appearing in events held at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Las Vegas. And now she has many modeling deals, endorsement deals and has her own show on TLC.

She also has earned a couple of awards like Sports Illustrated in 2010 named her the lady of the day and The MMA Awards handed her the title of the Ring Girl of the Year. Further, she was named the Hottest UFC Octagon Girl by Maxim in 2010.

Wearing High heels and walking around the ring definitely needs less talent than to practice four to five hours in the Gym daily. But we definitely don't mean modeling is an easy career path, as it's super expensive. But MMA is pretty unforgiving sports and is expensive too, but if the whole sports is based on two people fighting, we hope these people realize a simple fact "who holds the cards is insignificant when compared to who's holding the belt."
