Leigh Halfpenny left out of Wales tour to New Zealand.

It has been the hardest decision for the Wales coach Warren Gatland to leave out Leigh halfpenny for the rugby tour of New Zealand next month.

Halfpenny is a Wales and British Lions rugby union player. He is the third highest record points scorer in Wales after Neil Jenkins and Stephen Jones.

Halfpenny being an outstanding player, the team coach is despondent to leave him for the tour.

The reason for leaving him is that he has been out of events because of his injury in knee ligaments in a World Cup warm-up against Italy in September.

Though Halfpenny had the intention to come back with the club this season, good fortune is not with him. He is now suffering from another setback which involved an operation in April. His fans were also excited about his comeback but unfortunately he again went for bed rest.

Coach Gatland, who does not feel easier to pick young caps in the team, said-

"It's not the place to blood youngsters. You want to go there with as much experience as you need."
