John Cena All Set to Star in 'Janson Directive' for Dwayne Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions

Good news for the fans of John Cena! Right after the comedy hit movie "Blockers," John Cena is now all over the headlines for starring in Universal Pictures' "The Janson Directive" with mate Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia executive producing their Seven Bucks Productions.

Dwayne Johnson posted a video on his official Instagram announcing the casting members and praising his strong friendship with John Cena. Johnson openly talked about his days back in classic WrestleMania match with Cena. Johnson even shared the post in his Twitter too.

Later, Cena also took his Twitter to respond Johnson's announcement. He wrote: Humbled and HONORED for this incredible opportunity! The hard work starts..NOW!

The action-thriller was previously set to be with Johnson to star, but because of his busy schedule, Johnson and studio decided to move along with him as a producer.

The studio had been looking forward to a possible John Cena; starring franchise that will show his strength and physical presence.

Jeffrey Weiner and Ben Smith of Captivate Entertainment will produce the movie with Seven Bucks Production's Hiram Garcia. The production team also will feature James Vanderbilt, Mythology's William Sherak, Brad Fischer, and Weed Road Pictures' Akiva Goldsman. In the same way, Mythology's Tracey Nyberg will be working as an executive producer.

John Cena is set to star as Paul Janson, and the film certainly seems to turn into a franchise. So, no doubt Cena is on the way to become a rising star in his own right.

Before working in the acting industry, Cena began his career as a WWE Superstar. He has now appeared in several blockbuster comedies like Blockers, Train Wreck, and Sisters.

Excited about his upcoming project?
