John Buccigross - Biography - ESPN's Anchor and American sportscaster

Synopsis

John Buccigross, born on 27 January 1966, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States of America, is an anchor for ESPN since 1996. He has been awarded the GLADD Media Award for Outstanding Digital Journalism Article.  He first co-hosted the NHL 2Night which was nominated for Emmy and served in Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island before being in ESPN. John made deal with Atlantic Press about writing a book Jonesy: Put Your Head Down and Skate.

Early Life

John Buccigross was born on 27 January 1966, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States of America. He was born on the north side of Pittsburgh at Allegheny General Hospital. John along with his family at the age of 11 moved to Steubenville, Ohio but spent his childhood in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He completed his graduation from Steubenville Catholic Central High School and Heidelberg College as a major in Communications and Theater Arts.

John Buccigross was interested in commentary since his childhood, it is said that he used to record his own voice on a tape during live streaming television.

Career

John Buccigross signed a deal with Middle Atlantic Press which covers the life of former NHL player and analyst Keith Jones. Jonesy: Put Your Head Down and Skate, The Improbable NHL career of Keith Jones is a biography of Keith Jones released on 2 October 2007. He also once was a golf player.

In the year 2001, John Buccigross became the author of a weekly NHL column for ESPN.com, then left in November 2010 since then there are no any updates on the site.  He is a member of the Advisory Board for You Can Play. He also runs a college hockey related charity organization which sells Tshirts and caps. And the collected money is used to fund those college students who want to build their career in Hockey.

John Buccigross married Melissa Buccigross in 1991, who is incredibly beautiful. This couple has three children and they named them Brett Buccigross, Malorie Buccigross, and Jack Buccigross.
