American actress Jennifer Leann Carpenter has established herself as an excellent actress in her 10 years of acting journey. Carpenter is best known for playing Debra Morgan on Dexter, Emily Rose on The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and Rebecca Harris on Limitless for which she has been nominated and won many awards.

The 36-year-old always had a knack for acting ever since she was young, no wonder she made it to the prestigious New York City’s Juilliard School! But that’s not where she had her first-hand experience in drama. Prior to attending Juilliard, she was trained at the Walden Theatre Conservatory program.  Before graduating Juilliard School, she had already started her acting career. With her performance as Debra, she impressed the critics once again as she was cited "so perfect that many viewers appear to have mistaken the character's flaws for the actor's."

But it wasn’t just marvelous performance that came out of Carpenter while starring in Dexter, after a year of the series premiere, she began dating her co-star Michael C. Hall. After a year of dating, the couple eloped and making their first debut as a married couple at the 66th Golden Globe Awards. Two years down the line, Michael and Jennifer had an official divorce but remain very close friends till this day.

In 2011, she returned back to the Broadway in an off-Broadway play Gruesome Playground Injuries at Second Stage Theatre. In 2015, she starred in the popular CBS drama Limitless. Apart from these, Jennifer is also popular for playing Lisa in the 2004 comedy White Chicks.
