Stephen Colbert on the opening of the show interviewed Dalai Lama and it was all smiles but he is not usually a comic guy. He sometimes does take things to the next level. This time Colbert made Golden Globe-winning actor James Franco to address the sexual harassment allegations and Franco did actually open up about all the allegations.

Among them was actress Ally Sheedy tweeted that he was an example of “why I left the film/tv business,” though she later removed the message.

But the actor talked in a broader sense and addressed the allegation saying

“First of all, I have no idea what I did to Ally Sheedy,” he said. “I directed her in a play Off-Broadway, I had nothing but a great time with her, total respect for her. I have no idea why she was upset.” He added, “The things that I heard that were on Twitter are not accurate, but I completely support people coming out and being able to have a voice.”

But the sexual allegations over a seventeen years old wasn't mentioned, but the things that actor told was really impressive and believable.
