Jaguar F-Pace, Next Gen SUV Performance and Design

F-Pace cars, a bloodline to smart cars and a perfect luxurious SUV inspired by the design of F-Type has sports DNA. The powerful design and distinctive features give it standard road existence. The F-Pace re-creates the transparency of F-Type form.

F-Pace’s design is based on Jaguar C-X17 concept, which was officially announced in 2015 at Auto Show, Detroit and in Frankfurt. The F-Pace cars F-Type inspired family cars; 5 seated sedan car. The sales are expected to start at the end of the year 2016.

The F-Pace cars offer a steadiness concerning power and economy. The F-Pace includes 3.0 litre supercharged V6 or 2.0L turbo diesel engine and eight-speed in automatic. The F-Pace is integrated with all-wheel drive for off roads. This makes F-Pace a real powerful SUV and best in its class.

Performance

The F-Pace comes with options, to choose diesel or gasoline engines. The advanced powertrains inside integrate tuning and performance. The F-Pace comes with electric Start/Stop technology, and brake charging capacity which makes it the most economy car in urban areas.

The 2.0L turbocharged Diesel engine is the new breed of an engine for integrating performance with enhancement known as Ingenium. It is a computer controlled adaptive cool engine. The 3.0L V6 engine, on the other hand, is available in different HP versions that deliver high performance. The 380 HP engine is capable of delivering 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds.

F-Pace S and R models by Jaguar features all-wheel drive with intellectual driveline dynamics that offers better off-road driving and balancing car in unbalance road. Also, this mechanism builds confidence in handling. The steering is responsive as it is electrically assisted to provide a better connection between road and hand.

Design

The framework of F-Pace car is aluminium that delivers better dynamics and handling. The car does not use carbon fibre or graphene to make it lightweight, rather uses aluminium as it is lighter than steel. The reduced weight of car improves handling and braking efficiency. Also, the F-Pace is built with the 8-speed auto transmission that delivers faster shifting for acceleration and overtaking. The transmission could be controlled manually by the touch of finger below the steering wheel.

The F-Pace car is integrated with ASPC (All Surface Progress Control) that helps to make driving easier in some challenging conditions. This system assists in slippery conditions such as a road with snow, ice surface, wet grass and more. This system measures these surfaces and total grip control.

The headlight is similar to F-Type, is adaptive. The J-blade LED that runs on daytime too, that helps to distinguish objects in low light profile. Talking about the space, the car comes with 33.5 cubic feet cargo space with adjustable extra seats. The car being light weight, features alloy wheels up to 22” in diameter.

In-Car Features

The car features HUD (Head-Up Display) that uses laser tech to project essential information on a windscreen. Sounds familiar? It is similar to holographic tech. This feature works even if there is direct sunlight. The information it shows is traffic signal, navigation, vehicle speed and alerts.

F-Pace also comes with OLKA (Optional Lane Keep Assist) that helps to sense lane drift. The driver condition monitor within the system analyses the car constantly and this OLKA helps to steer the vehicle back to its lane.

F-Pace also includes TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition) software that uses a camera to detect speed limit board or signs beside the road, and display it through HUD. Also, the system displays the speed that vehicles could go on the road.

F-Pace is sporty SUV, so comes with optional ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) to adjust speed accordance to the vehicle ahead. If the vehicle ahead slows down, the ACC helps to slow down the car, to maintain a safe distance.
