Jacoby Ellsbury hits his first home run.

On April 21, Ellsbury stole home plate on a 3-2 count to tie game at 3-3 against the Tampa Bay Rays. Then a solo shot in Monday’s win over the Rangers hit his first home run of the season.

Offering out of the park for his first home run of the season, Jacoby Ellsbury hit a 3-1 Carlos Ramos. He finished the game with two hits in five at-bats and struck out once.

Yankees seem jubilant to get the victory over the Rangers as it was their third in the last four games. The American professional baseball center fielder, Ellsbury is credited the most behind the success.

New York Yankees tweeted on Twitter.

Ellsbury is there with three extra-base hits 8-19 (.421), he is supposed to have started off figuring out the things. The things are trending in the right for him and his line for the season is still underwhelming at .268/.297/.394. He swigged just .345 last seasons with seven home runs.

The baseman of the team Mark Teixeira says-

Once you get to the seventh inning, you start thinking, ‘Even if he doesn’t go all nine, we have two pretty good relievers back there that this could be a joint no-hitter. The win is the most important thing, and Nate just pitched fantastic today.”

In his first of the season, Ellsbury is considered to be the one to put the Yankees on the board with a leadoff homer in the third. However, going just 1-for-9 — and the one hit didn’t even score a run. They’re hitting .190 (29-for-153) with RISP this season. The team consistently struggled with runners in scoring position. And the effort later embarrassed them with the accomplishment of a game.

We are sure Ellsbury is ready to hit up the other coming games.
