Jacki Weaver's eventful life.

The renowned Australian Actress Jacki Weaver, famously known for her roles in the award winning movie portraying the roles of ‘Smurf’ in Animal Kingdom (2010) and also her role as Dolores Solatano in the movie Silver Lining Playbook which earned her a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. The actress is at an age of 68 years old.

Weaver emerged as a symbol of the Australian New Wave in the 1970s through her work in Ozplotiation films such as Stork (1971), Alvin Purple (1972) and Petersen (1973). She also released her autobiography tilted Much Love, Jac.

She also known for her marrying and getting divorced several times with many different husbands the actress certainly had an eventful personal life. According sources, she is reportedly hard to live with and likes to keep moving from one person to person based on the idea that you cannot spend your whole life with a single person.

She first got married to David Price in 1966 and remained with him only for four years and got a divorce with him in 1970, sources say that they couple agreed that they were young and had made mistake getting married. She then went on to date Max Hensser while dating for over 5 years she again got married to him. She eventually divorced him too.

She then went on to marry her next boyfriend Derryn Hinch who is a radio and television presenter in 1983, they divorced in 1996 and remarried again in 1997 and again things didn’t seems  to work out and they divorced again in 1998. The actress had as son, Dylan who was born in 1969 with her partner at that time John Walters.

She is currently married to actor Sean Taylor. She supports the Australian Labor Party, and to show her support for her party went on to record a radio advertisement for them in the 1996 federal election.

Jacqueline Ruth ‘Jacki’ Weaver was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Her mother Edith (nee Simpson), was a migrant from northern England, and her father Arthur Weaver, was a Sydney solicitor. She attended Hornsby Girls High School and went on to receive a scholarship to study sociology at a university but she chose to pursue her dream of becoming an actor.  

She began her professional career as a singer in 1964 at the Palace Theatre in Sydney, Weaver along with a number of Australian singers such as The Dell tones and her then boyfriend Bryan Davies performed a satire on the Gidget movies, in which Weaver performed as ‘Gadget’.

She began her acting career staring in her debut movie Stork in 1971 for which she won the Australian Film Institute Award. This helped her launch her career in the industry. Since then the actress has won many award and has featured in many films and TV shows. She has truly had a remarkable career as an actor.

According to sources the actress is estimated at a net worth of 2 million US Dollars.
