J. K. Simmons talks about his new movie Justice League.

When Wonder Woman made her appearance in Batman V Superman (2016), it gave me a sense of happiness that lasted for the entire boss fight against Doomsday.

Although the critics did not hesitate to inspect the movie very closely and find every problem, as an audience it was a marvel (pun intended). The blue-ray version is coming out later this year we suppose and people are sure to download purchase it.

The movie not only showed us that Superman can bleed but it also set in motion various of the DC shared universe story line, including iconic superheroes like Flash, Aquaman, Wonderwoman and that other guy, and set the theme which will ultimately lead to the long-awaited Justice League movie.

We know the main cast, some of them at least who have appeared in BVS movie. However, we only have one official news for the new cast and that is J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.

Now, we know that Batman is one of the main members of the League. Having said that Commissioner Gordon will also play at least as significant role as Louis Lane in the movie.

One may even argue that Gary Oldman is best-suited for the role of Gordon. I agree but I can’t wait to see how Simmons will portray such an iconic character.

We all got to see his obnoxious side in the Sam Raimi's Spider Trilogy and who could forget his cocky side in The Whiplash (2013). Based on the trend of his performances, it is hard to picture him as a silent Gordon. Well, here is one picture of him via paramount.

Not only us, but it seems even Simmons himself is quite excited for the role.

“… Obviously, a lot of really wonderful actors have played that character previously, and most of them I saw at the time the movies came out, never imagining that I would be doing the same thing. So, I can’t say that I don’t have some impression of that character in my head that’s based on what I saw, but I’m not planning on going back and watching any of the other films. I’m just planning on learning as much as I can about him through the comics and getting my feet wet in the first movie, and then hopefully continuing on from there.”

Including Ben Affleck, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Evans and few other actors, Simmons will be listed as the actor who has played in both mainstream Marvel and DC movies. How awesome is that you ask? It's gonna be Legen…wait for it…
