J.J. Watt's could miss the Opening for Houston Texans due to Surgery

American Football is the game which is considered as one of the most dangerous sports of all time. Nevertheless, it is the most viewed television event in the United States of America. Wiith such big craze comes populairty and Justin James Watts missing the opening for Houston Texans because of his suregery is creating a rage.

J.J. Watt’s Injury

J.J. Watt can be off for the opening for Texans because he has his back operated on July 21st in order to overhaul a herniated disc. If you are wondering what that is, well, the most basic term would be ‘Spinal Disc Problem’. This type of pathology causes agony called radicular pain leading to other parts of the body as well. Usually, it takes 8-10 weeks to recover once you undergo with this kind of surgical procedure. And this is going to break your hearts but  Watt is on the Physically Unable to Perform list. So, this might be the reason why Watt could miss the opening for Houston Texans this season.

J.J. Watt’s Career

Watt’s career started since 2011 after following his father John Watt’s footsteps. At the 2007 WIAA Division 2 Championship, he set a new school greatest with a toss of 18.28 meters (59ft). Later, the 27 year old skipped his senior season to enter the 2011 NFL Draft where he was counted as the top player in all combine groupings. In 2011; 28th April, he got chosen in the first round by the Houston Texans. After 3 months on 31st July, the Texans signed Watt to a 4 year contract offering him $11.24 million. And since then, he has been the savior for Houston Texans.

In 2012, defensive end Watt sacked Peyton Manning 2.5 times. During the same year, he fired on Aaron Rodgers. In 2014, WK 8, Watt sacked and forced fumble on Zach Mettenberger of San Diego Chargers. During 2014, WK 4, he returned 80-YD INT for TD.

During the AFC South, J.J. Watt racked up 3 sacks, a forced fumble and 2 pass rebounds to support his team win in a 30-6 triumph over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Justin James Watt was ranked 1st in the ‘Top 100 Players of 2015’ and is ranked 3rd as of 2016 where Cam Newton takes up the first place. Watt got awarded with the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year thrice in his first 5 seasons. In 2014, he became the NFL’s first ever player to record two 20 plus sack seasons in a career. During Watt’s senior, he received the Woodland Conference Player of the year with a total of 5 touchdowns, 399 receiving yards and around 26 catches. He is also the first defensive player to get ranked 1st in the ‘Top 100 Players’ of 2015. And there are many more.
