Is Sally Nugent dating anyone? Is she married?

The Wirall Peninsula born Sally Nugent is an English journalist for BBC News. She graduated from University of Huddersfield with a BA degree in Communications Arts and French.

Nugent, 44 has been happily married for more than 7 years now with one child and no signs of divorce in the near future. Despite being a media personality Sally’s life however remains extremely private. At this point we do know she’s been married but the identity of her husband is still remains anonymous. Not only her husband but Sally manages to get her parents out of the spotlight as well. It is believed that she married her boyfriend, who she had been dating for quite a long time. Her family has never been in any sort of contact with the media.

Her first media role was at BBC Radio Merseyside before she started reporting on and reading the sports news on BBC North West Tonight. In 2003 she became a sports reporter for BBC News, appearing on national bulletins, before becoming a sports news presenter on the BBC News Channel (also known as BBC News 24).

"I'm in the process of packing up my stuff because I'm going to be going down to London for a bit to meet all the national network guys and get to grips with the one o'clock, six o'clock and 10 o'clock news," stated a hectic Sally to the Manchester Evening News.

Talking furthermore as her new post as a sports reporter for BBC News, she said it’s exciting as well as nerve wrecking,
"My patch is going to be huge, so when a story breaks late at night or whatever I get straight in my car and go wherever it might be - and that could be Middleborough, Newcastle, Leeds, or even Scotland from time to time.”
"I'm giving up what is a lovely, gorgeous job with a wonderful bunch of people to go on the road. It's really exciting because they've created this job specially for me.”

The leggy lass then travelled to Germany for the 2006 World Cup, anchoring Sports day from there. Nugent then spent a period as a news correspondent on TV and radio, and as a relief presenter on the BBC News channel.

She has one child, aged 7. Apparently Sally returned to her work as a regular sports reporter earlier than expected after the delivery of her child. In November 2011, she started co-hosting BBC Breakfast on a 'relief' basis, filling in when regular hosts were unavailable. In 2014, she was rumored to replace Susanna Reid since Reid had left BBC for ITV.  Since April 2012, she has presented sports bulletins alongside Mike Bushell on Breakfast, when the program moved to its new home at Media City in Salford. She is the main relief presenter on the show and presented the show on Christmas Eve 2012 with Bill Turnbull.

Although her salary pay has been an undisclosed matter, Sally’s net worth is an estimated $500 thousand.
