Is Jason Reitman dating anyone currently? Does he have a girlfriend?

Canadian-American film director, Jason Reitman has been single for two years now, since his split with his wife of 10 years, Michel Lee in 2014 with no flings or casual dating affairs so far. Maybe the irreconcilable difference he had with wife, Lee still bothers him.

The Montreal born film director, screenwriter and producer is known for his terrific works in films and has never ceased to amaze us with his stunning films. Jason, who initially wanted to attend medical schools got into film-making while his time at USC where he produced short films of his own. Given that he is the son of Ghostbusters’ director Ivan Reitman, seems like film-making is in the Reitman genes. In the late 1980s, he started acting from small parts and serving as a production assistant on his father’s films.

His first feature film was Thank You for Smoking, which earned two nominations for Golden Globes. Similarly his second film “Juno” was a massive success which generated quite a buzz after it premiered at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival. The film further received several accolades, being Roger Ebert’s favorite film and Oscar nomination for four categories. That’s quite a number, Reitman!

The 38 year old award winning film director, Reitman has had quite a startling love life. When in high school at the age of 16, he moved in with a woman 10 years older than him. The couple were together for 7 years before finally splitting up. He met his now ex-wife Michel Lee, a writer in 2000 while living in the same neighborhood as Lee. The duo who married in 2004, co-wrote the 2004 comedic short “Consent”. They have a child together, a daughter named Josie. Due to irreconcilable differences as a major reason, Reitman filed a divorce from wife Lee at L.A Superior Court in 2011, the couple got officially divorced in 2014.

As of 2016, Reitman has never been spotted with any lady of interest. While we guessed he’d be attending the 2016 Sundance Film Festival with his rumored girlfriend but Reitman proved us wrong, showing up with director Richard Linklater.

Reitman directed “Up in the Air” starring George Clooney, a movie based on Walter Kim’s novel of the same name which went on to win the prestigious Golden Globe award for Best Screenplay in 2010.  He has produced and directed numerous commercials for brands like Wal-Mart, Nintendo, BMW, Burger King and many more. Some of Reitman’s famous works include Juno, Thank You for Smoking, Young Adult, Jennifer’s Body, Up in the Air. Despite being known as an amazing director, Reitman considers himself boring as he went on in an interview with Howard Stern in his show,
"Do you know how many times I get asked if I want to do Ghostbusters III? Looking at my career so far, I mean, if you just looked at my two films, I would make the most boring Ghostbusters movie. It would just be people talking about ghosts, there wouldn't be any ghost-busting in it."

The marvelous film director has a net worth of $8 million.
