After many supporting roles, he was then seen in a film based on the popular novel named All the King's Men. The movie was super duper hit and he was listed in hit actor.

Broderick then appeared in many movies like “Scandal Sheet”, “Human Desire”, “II bidone”, “Between Heaven and Hell”, “The Fastest Gun Alive”, “Not as a Stranger” and much more. He was also spotted in the police drama "Highway Patrol" which ran for around four years.

Broderick Crawford continued his acting career almost up to his death. He passed away at the age of 74 on April 26, 1986, after a series of strokes.
