Well, the renowned Dj A-Trak lives in an apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at New York. The DJ/ producer shows off his amazing view of the city, his studio, and equipment in the house.

A-Trak was the first DJ to win all three major DJ competition titles (DMC, ITC and Vestax). He is also the first DJ to win five World Championships.

In 1997, A-Trak has won  DMC World DJ Championship at the age of 15 Where made him the youngest and first Canadian winner of the competition.

A-Trak developed a national system for scratching in the late 90's. He gave a lecture about it at the scratch on 2000 conference and published an article in Tablet Magazine.

A-Trak and his brother Dave ran the record label Audio Research from 1997-2007. After moving to Williamsburg, he founded the label Fool's Gold Records with Nick Catchdubs in 2007.

A-Trak had been booked to play a show, In 2004 at a tiny record shop in London. Kanye West came to support John Legend who was also playing on the same show.

A-Trak and Kanye West have worked closely moreover Kanye West recruited A-Trak as his personal tour DJ. He also recorded scratches on Kanye West's second and third studio albums Late Registration in 2005 and Graduation in 2007 and was an attracted on the overall sound of the latter.

A-Trak Awards

A-Trak has won Technics / DMC World Champion in 1997 at the age of 15. In 1998 he became the DMC world 2nd Runner Up.

A-Trak also has won ITF World Championship (Advancement category). In 1999, he won  ITF Western Hemisphere Scratching Championship. Vestax World DJ Extravaganza Championship was in the favor of A-Tark by looking his performance in 1999.
