Hot actress Renee O'Connor wants a movie reboot of the TV Series Xena the Warror Princess

Rumor has it, Renee O’Connor wants a reboot of her super hit American hot series Xena: The Warrior Princess.

A source close to the actress has informed that the beautiful and hot actress wants to revive her popular and much loved character of Gabrielle so bad that she has even approached her fellow star and close friend from the series, Lucy Lawless. Lawless portrayed the role of the titular character aka Warrior Princess Xena in the show that ran for six long seasons from 1995 to 2001.

The source, who claims to be close to the actress, aged 44, said that she had always been quite inclined towards the long forgotten show and she wanted to be back as Gabrielle so bad that she was even talking to Lawless and the original executive producers of the show, Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi.

The insider revealed: “You won’t believe how desperate Renee is to be back on The Warrior Princess. She is 44 already, but she still thinks that she could fit in those sexy Gabrielle outfits. We all know there were talks about the show’s reboot by NBC Universal in 2016, but Lucy Lawless just denied the rumors. But Renee won’t have it.

“She is trying her best to convince the producers and Lucy that they could make a reboot of the hit show. She actually wants Xena: The Warrior Princess to be on the big screens. But we really don’t think, that’s ever going to happen.”

So, it seems the American actress, producer and director is actually interested in reviving the much loved show. The informant also shared with us more information that the actress, who directed two of the episodes of the show, has shown desire to direct the movie and act in it as well. Say what??!!

It looks like this blonde beauty is actually serious about starring and directing the reboot of The Warrior Princess. And if her dreams ever come true, then Xena lovers would surely be more than happy about it.

A few months back, O’Connor and Lawless reunited and even snapped some pictures together. Her fellow actress posted few of those pictures on Instagram. The photo was captioned: ‘Still hanging with my gal #Reneeoconnor.’
