American Television actress Julie Ann Emery is reportedly fed up of working in the small screen and is desperate for an opportunity to move to the big screen. Emery, who has been featured in quite a few television shows has expressed a desire to work in movies.
She is apparently tired of working small time and she has definitely got what it takes to become a successful, big time actress. And looks like her wishes are coming true. Emery has been cast alongside Captain America star Chris Evans, Obvious Child actress Jenny Slate and Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer in Andy Cohen's new project, Gifted.
Even though Emery started off her career with Will Smith's Hitch, she has had a more successful career in TV. After her roles in critically acclaimed shows like Better call Saul, Fargo and Masters od Sex, she is currently working on the TNT procedural drama, Major Crimes where she plays detective Stephanie Dunn.
Aside from being a film and TV actress, Emery also has experience in theater. The actress began her acting career at the age of 16 and has appeared in several stage productions, including A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Bye Bye Birdie. She has appeared in many movies in minor roles and has done over 15 TV shows such as ER, CSI: Miami, Commander in Chief, Line of Fire, and Fargo.
She also appeared in the highly rated NCIS, guest starting in two episodes, one in the beginning of Season 11 episode, “Kill Chain” and her last appearance being in the Season 12 episode “House Rules”.
Julie Ann Emery was born in Crossville, Tennessee to computer analyst Janice and dairy farmer Gary Emery. She graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1990 in Crossville then studied acting at the Webster Conservatory at Webster University in St.Louis, Missouri.
She is married to actor Kevin Earley. The couple met while attending Webster University.
