Hope Hicks Acknowledges Her White Lies For Donald Trump

White House Communication Director Hope Hicks refused to reveal answers to some question asked by the lawmakers in the closed-door testimony.

 

White House Aide Hope Hicks meet the House Intelligence Committee behind the locked door on 27 February 2018 at Washington to testify Russia’s interference in 2016 election campaign.  

Hicks revealed to the investigator that her work for Trump, who is reported to exaggerate and fix falsehood, had sometimes made her spoke white lies.

Hicks extending the statement told the lawmakers that she had not lie anything when it comes to Russia’s interference in the campaign of 2016 linking another 3 associates of President Trump.

Before the private testimony exchange, she continuously refused to answers when she was asked about other figures who were involved in 2016 election.

She repeatedly insisted that she joined the investigation to talk about the 2016 election not about the presidential transition period.   

When it comes to Trump’s former chief strategist he similarly declined to discuss his word during the transition period.

“That’s an overly broad claim of privileged that I don’t think any court of law would sustain. And I think the White House knows that.” Adam Schiff, the committee’s top Democrats told.

The member of the committee concluded that Hick and her lawyers discussed before the interview about the possibility to answer only a few questions related to the transition period question.

In a statement, representative Schiff told the main question were left unanswered.
