Heather Unruh was young when she started her career and now emerged as a journalist having over 20 years of experiences.  In early 1990's, she was a news anchor and reporter for WBNG-TV in Binghamton New York. After some while, she moved to Alabama and worked with WVTM-TV in Birmingham.

 

KFOR-TV was her next working station where Heather was an evening anchor and medical reporter at KFOR-TV, the NBC-affiliated in Oklahoma City. Furthermore, she was also a host and produced a public affairs series at WVEU in Atlanta.

Eventually, Heather Unruh joined WCVB in the year 2001. She was a co-anchor at 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM newscasts and also served as Medical Reporter at NewsCenter 5. She quit her job at WCVB in October 2016.
