Early Life and Education

Heather Nauert was born in 1970 on January 27th. Since her childhood, she wanted to become a news reporter and that is what she pursued in life.

She went to Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC and graduated with a B.A. in communications. Later, she joined Columbia University in New York City and acquired her M.A. in Journalism there.

Career

In 1996, Heather Nauert started her career working in TV for the syndicated business program called ‘First Business’ as a reporter. It is a weekly newscast broadcasted in 110 markets across the country. During the period of 1998 to 2005, she worked for ‘Fox News Channel’ as a contributor for 3 years and later as a correspondent for 4 years.

From 2005 to 2007, heather held her position at ABC News as a general assignment correspondent. Over there, she contributed to ‘Good Morning America’, ‘World News Tonight’ and ‘Nightline’ where she earned an Emmy nomination for the special series called ’13 Around the World’.

Later on she co-hosted ‘Big Story with John Gibson & Heather Nauert’ and ‘Good Day New York’ on WYNY-TV. Prior to her work as a reporter, Heather worked as a government affairs consultant on Tax, Social Security and Health Insurance issues in Washington, D.C.

In New York City for Fox retained and operated station called WNYW, she made her appearance in ‘Good Day Early Call’ and ‘Good Day New York Wake Up’ alongside co-anchor Steve Lacy on weekday mornings. She left in October 2012 and heather continues her work on Fox News Channel and also for ‘The Strategy Room’ on FoxNews.com at present.

Personal Life

As a child, Heather Nauert spent much of her time in Wisconsin which is located in the north-central United States. She is married to her longtime boyfriend and an investment banker Scott Norby in 2000; who works at ‘Goldman Sachs’ currently.

Together, they have two sons named ‘Peter Raymond Norby’ and ‘Gage William Norby’. They gave birth to their first on October 7th, 2009; and their second in 2010. Heather has two brothers Joe Nauert and Jon Nauert

Reports believe that they have been married for around 16 years now and it appears like they don’t have any marital issues so far. At present, they reside in New York City, United States of America.
