Heather Mills says,ex-husband Paul mcCartney, whom she divorced in 2008, can't read music

Every time Heather Mills makes the news, it’s for something big. Be it her 1993 accident that cost her a leg, or her marriage (and divorce) to legendary musician and the Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney. And this time, it's because she said that McCartney can't read music.

In an interview with the guardian, Mills said that she was in charge of teaching music to their 11 year old daughter, Beatrice and that Beatrice believed that she was 99% like her mother.

"I don’t know if that’s a good thing", Mills said. "I think she’s got the best of both of us, we’re both very musical. I taught her the saxophone, because her father can’t read music so I do all the music teaching, and I’m good with languages. She’s a brilliant poet so obviously gets that from him."

Apparently, the member of one of the greatest bands of all time, despite being a fantastic song writer, never learned to write (and read) music. Him and his buddy, Beatles singer John Lennon left music writing to their producer George Martin.

McCartney has not yet commented on Mills remarks, but he has previously compared reading music in his childhood piano lessons to homework.

The former couple met in 1999 and after several rumors about his appearance at Mills events, they announce their relationship in 2000. He proposed in 2001 and they got married in 2002. In 2003, Mills gave birth to their daughter, Beatrice. They separated three years later in 2006 and the divorce was finalized in 2008.

Since then, they have been involved in raising Beatrice but have not been in the best of terms.

In the interview, she said that she did not want to talk about her marriage with McCartney. She said, "I don’t want to go into my second marriage too much because if you haven’t got something nice to say about someone you shouldn’t say anything at all, and it had a lot to do with the person I married."

"Considering what went on, the one thing I’m most proud of is I never lowered myself to the level that some parents do where they speak badly about the other parent."

However, these statements from her contradict with the times she has talked about McCartney in interviews after their split. Earlier this year, after McCartney collaborated with pop star Rihanna and rapper Kanye West in "FourFiveSeconds", Mills talked about how she felt about it on Ireland's Late Late Show,  she said, "If I go down the street, all I get is kids coming up to me. Half of them don't even know who he is. That's why he's got to do songs with Rihanna and Kanye West, so people remember."

She also talked about McCartney and their marriage, she said: "This is just someone I fell in love with who to me was a normal guy who happened to write a few cool songs in the '60s and a few in the '70s."

"It was just someone I fell in love with, like everybody who is a partner. You fall in love, you get married, sometimes you wake up and think "This is completely wrong" and you move on. There's a massive nation of people who are divorced."
