Harvey Weinstein; an American film producer and former film studio executive famous as co-founder of Miramax and producing several movies like Clerks, Sex, Lies, and Videotape, and The Crying Game.

 

Everyone might be familiar that high-powered film producer Harvey Weinstein has been in the headlines for several sexual harassment cases. And for now, Harvey Weinstein crisis continues as he is again in the sexual harassment charge and this time Hollywood lawyer Lisa Bloom resigns.

In one of the investigations published in The New York Times, the survey claims that Weinstein has been involved in at least eight settlements paid to women over several decades. And now the stars, producers, publicists, agents, and studio executives are speaking out and to fight against these problems.

The news blows to Weinstein and team who fought back reported reaching private settlements with eight of the women. Hollywood lawyer Lisa Bloom tweeted on her Twitter and announced of resigning as an advisor to Harvey Weinstein.

There were no any headlines regarding Bloom’s involvement with Weinstein and the news shocked many people. Bloom is famous for working on the court with women seeking for justice from sexual harassment. Her past clients include Blac Chyna and Mischa Barton.

Even Gloria Allred, mother of Lisa Bloom expressed her anger regarding the decision. Gloria Allred is famous for taking on high profile cases. Allred said:

Had I been asked by Mr. Weinstein to represent him, I would have declined, because I do not represent individuals accused of sex harassment,

She furthermore added:

I only represent those who allege that they are victims of sexual harassment. While I would not represent Mr. Weinstein, I would consider representing anyone who accused Mr. Weinstein of sexual harassment, even if it meant that my daughter was the opposing counsel.’

Weisten was fired from Weinstein Co. and for now, his next step remains uncertain. After half of his team resigned, sources claim that he is quite busy restocking his team of crisis managers. He retained Sitrick and Company to help him for next phase.

Seven times Tony Awards Winner Weinstein faced a number of sexual harassment over three decades that includes Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan. He once released a statement claiming that he so respects women and also apologized for causing pain to them.
