Fox News host Greg Gutfeld recall past jobs at his Greg Gutfeld Show on Analysis: fewer teens work summer jobs. He is surprised to know that fewer teens are working in summer.

 

Greg Gutfeld on his show remembers his old day and few of the summer jobs he used to work as a kid Saturday after US Bureau of Labor Statistics analysis discovered that few teens are searching and working summer works.

The analysis revealed that as of April 2018, the involvement of labor from 16-19 years was 34.8 percent.

While the data found in July 1989 was at 56.1%.

Summer jobs get you used to work,” he said on the show. “In the summertime, it’s good to work because then you better appreciate when you’re outside and not working at all.”

Gutfeld added, “You need the contrast.”

He shares his early job saying that his one summer job was bottling Grapette soda. He also said that he was once a lifeguard at a condo.

Looking at the above data it shows a drastic change in labor participation age from 16 to 19 after 1989.
