Grant Ward

Tired of what you are doing? Let us talk about Grant Ward, a S.H.I.E.L.D. specialist, who was secretly a HYDRA agent.

Ward is apparently suffering from a miserable and abusive home life. He blames his brother, mother, and father to make his life way out of happiness. He kind of hate them all. As the episodes progress, we can see how his troubled home poses a problem in his emotional well being.

Ward raided houses and lived a somewhat stress-free life during Garrett's six-month absence. After he returned nothing remained the same. He said that he worked for HYDRA and extended his hand to join in for the work. After Ward accepted the offer, he was instructed to kill his loving dog Buddy to prove devotion to the work and lack of attention.

Ward soon became a specialist, and started to avoid the team assignment and his ego started taking over him. He stopped getting along with the co-workers.

However, Ward proves to be a valuable team member or better say a soldier in combat. He was successful in defending his team taking down a collection of guards to allow Skye passage.

By the beginning of the second season, Ward is confirmed in vault D beneath the playground and seemingly has been for some time. He is viewed by Coulson as a viable but untrustworthy one.

Then after his fight with Coulson, the unnamed inhuman can be see crawling from through Ward’s body and soon it possesses his body.

Ward is a real anti-social man and takes his job very seriously. He is a man of few words but always cool under fire and ready for action. When working with S.H.I.E.L.D, he appears to be fiercely loyal, obedient and by-the-book.

Later as the season proceeds, it becomes clear that Ward cannot deal with emotions. He cannot become a charming guy , no matter how much he tries.

Ward is a clear cut Cascadian male standing at the height of 6 feet and 3 inches tall. He a handsome hunk with brown hair and brown eyes. He is in excellent physical shape from years of combat training. Despite that, he is not married yet. Also, wife and divorce are something a far cry for him.

However, the character we talking about is a skilled seducer and manipulator. He is willing to let things to get intimate with Agent May even after he knows she is a threat to him.

Ward is among those characters who is loved by the audiences very much. They especially love his dialogues for being intense and straight forward.

The role of Grant Ward is played by actor Brett Dalton. He is an acclaimed for many other movies and TV shows which have increased his net worth remarkably.
