Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett sasy Roger Ailes helped him through his alcoholism recovery. Jarrett is back on TV after spending some time with his wife.

Fox News Anchor Gregg Jarrett who had been over the years struggling with alcoholism is back as a sober man and has begun leading a healthy life with his wife and family. Gregg has said how he could not have done or been successful on his path back to recovery without his friend Roger Ailes who saw to it that he received the best care and everything he needed to be better and alive once again.

Gregg who struggled with alcoholism for over a decade is now finally sober and has been saying that he is better than ever at the moment. Last year Gregg had reached probably what others would call it the edge of life. He was in a situation, where his life could have ended at any moment.

It had taken almost ten years out of his life and pushed him to such an extreme self-destructive behavioral pattern where he was hanging by nothing but a thread about to snap. It was almost a decade back when Gregg first came out publicly that he was suffering from a serious issue that needed immediate attention.

His boss and the CEO of Fox News Roger Ailes was the first man he confessed to. What unfolded next was not a man in power condemning his fellow employ to the hangman but Roger rather took it up as his challenge to help Gregg in any way and to see to it that he gets better with time.

Gregg has also mentioned that Roger did not only save his career but he rather went to the extent of saving his life too. There were times when anybody helping another person would have lost it but Roger instead of falling back strengthen the bond by letting Gregg know that not only he but “ we need to beat this”.

Roger told Gregg the reason he helped him was simply because he felt that it was the right thing to do. Help another man suffering who is not being able to help himself is what humanity is all about. Gregg has also said after the embarrassment he caused for his family his families also refused to give up hope on him and kept pushing him toward betterment.

Now having come probably the greatest test he ever faced in his lifetime Gregg has said he always felt that he was a lucky person a really lucky one.

Gregg has been married to his wife for over twenty years and has daughters with her. He currently has returned to working for fox news after taking a hiatus for an extended period of time. His salary by the corporation remains undisclosed. However, his net worth has been estimated to be $2 million.
