Jana Novotna, former World number 2 tennis champion, died at the age of 49 due to the cause of cancer. All of the details were shown only after her death. So, it is uncertain about how long she had had breast cancer.

In Novotna's 14 years career, she has won altogether 100 titles. The player from the Czech Republic has won 17 Grand titles for various title matches. She got a victory in the single open era for the first time at the age of 29 in 1998. Jana defeated veteran Nathalie Tauziat in finals to secure her win.
Moreover, she ranked as number 2 in singles and number 1 in doubles in 1997. Altogether, Jana has won 24 titles in singles and 76 titles in doubles in her lifetime. Novotna had a successful career from her tennis career. Also, she was a very hard working woman and she never knew what giving up is. She kept going on and on and on, and finally, in 1998, she won single open era after defeating Nathalie in finals. Jana will be remembered as a great tennis personality and all of us pray for her soul to rest in peace.
