Model Cheryl Tiegs has put up her Los Angeles based Home in the market for $15 Million.
The grand mansion belonging to the American model cum actress first went on the market two years ago for $12 miilion. But, it was taken down from the market after a few months. Now, it has been placed on the market again, but the price of the house has increased by $3 million this time.
Cheryl Tiegs, who was a famous Cover girl during her long and successful modeling career, has graced a lot of magazines. And now, her Bel-Air home itself can be seen in the covers of a number of magazines. It seems like the magic of the former super model’s fame has touched her luxurious house as well.
The resort like estate has been greatly inspired by Balinese pavilions and the house has been designed by not so popular designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The mansion has been the centre of attraction for many in the past years and has been visited and admired by various celebrity clients like Christina Aguilera, Elton John and Cher.
The house has been built on 1.43 acres of landscape ground. The mansion houses a swimming pool, a guesthouse, pathways and fountains. Despite being as grand as a royal palace, the house is just one storey tall and has an open plan, vaulted beamed ceilings and an lot of windows through which the visitors can savor the beautiful view of the city. There is also a long driveway that opens to a large motor court.
Other features of the lavish resort cum house include a wine cellar, an eat-in kitchen, five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms (not sure what that means), all accommodated within the 4,770 square feet of living space. Moreover the master suite has a sitting area, a two-way fireplace and an oversized spa like bathroom with several other fireplaces in the living and dining rooms.
The designer and entrepreneur bought the house and the property for $2.49 million in 1996. She later renovated the 1950s style house in Balinese theme. Despite placing the property for the sale in 2013, the model-turned-actress was not quite sure whether to sell it or not so she withdrew the sale. And now she has once again decided to sell the house in much higher price as the market cost has increased incredibly.
Joseph Babajian of Rodeo Realty who is the listing agent for Tiegs said that the model was selling her house for herself as she wants to buy as much smaller home in LA. But she might look for a home in New York as well.
The model, aged 67 was once a Cover Girl for top magazines like Time and Vogue. The hot celeb appeared on the covers of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue as well as other popular magazines. She enjoyed the height of popularity in her youth. The actress, who still looks very young and beautiful in her late 60s, is often accused of having several plastic surgery procedures like facelift, Blepharoplasty as well as Botox and facial filler.
Tiegs has married not once, not twice, not even thrice but FOUR times... She has tied the knot with advertising executive Stan Dragoti, photographer Peter Beard, aspiring actor Anthony Peck, and yoga instructor Rod Stryker. She is a mother of three children- Zackary, with Anthony Peck, and twins Theo and Jaden whom she gave birth via surrogacy during her marriage to Rod Stryker.
And something more about the actress; she appeared drunk on Twins TV and radio broadcasts during Minnesota’s game against Tigers last year.
