Former Pussycat Dolls' Kimberly Wyatt won Masterchef, calls husband and daughter her inspiration

Former Pussycat Dolls singer and dancer Kimberly Wyatt has won the tenth season of Celebrity Masterchef.

She was crowned the winner of the 2015 show after she beat former X Factor star Rylan Clark and TV presenter Sam Nixon in the final battle for the coveted title.

The new mother and a dance choreographer won the judges’ hearts with her mouth-watering delicacies. All three celebrity contestants had to prepare a meal for the three top chef judges including the two hosts John Torode and Gregg Wallace for their final task.

Wyatt made a soufflé as part of her final meal and won everybody’s heart despite doing it for the first time. She prepared a seafood soup, a loin of lamb and her own special cheesecake for the next courses.

It was a tough competition where all three contestants showed equal chance of winning the contest but only one can be the winner and this time it was Kimberly Wyatt.

The American singer and television personality struggled hard during her time in the show as she was very much unaware about the English ingredients and style of cooking. However, the Missouri beauty impressed all the judges and was victorious.

After being named the winner, she took it to the Twitter to express her joy. She called her time on the show "the most incredible experience ever" and thanked the judges for her victory.

The singer aged 33 said: "This has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. The whole reason for being in MasterChef was because I am a new mum, and to create something for my little Willow to look up to and I think that's what this represents.

"I'm absolutely elated, this has been one hell of an experience, and I have definitely learnt so much. It's been an incredible challenge."

She also posted a picture of her on Instagram following her victory.

A mother and a wife admitted that the real inspiration behind her participation and victory in the competition are her husband and her newly born daughter.

Wyatt who is married to model Max Rogers, gave birth to their daughter Willow in December 2014.

She said how it was tough to come home and manage time for both her daughter and her practice sessions in the kitchen.

She admitted:  “I didn’t really get to sleep much, a few practices at home would end in tears from being so exhausted, wanting to do well and making stupid mistakes from just total, sleep-deprived delirium.”

She said that being a mother made it important for her to cook well. She gives all the credit of her cooking success to her daughter.

She said: “Being a mommy makes it so important for me to cook well. Willow is the biggest reason I did the show. Coming from Fast Food America, I wanted to create a different relationship and experience with food for her. Healthy but super-yummy.”

Wyatt who met her husband Rogers in 2011 says that her love for the kitchen began after she met him. After their wedding, this hot dancer really started to kick off the “food journey in the kitchen.”

She said: “Once we married and I fell pregnant, a passion for the kitchen emerged. Max is a great cook and he has taught me quite a few things. I love it when he cooks for me. It’s one of the ultimate gifts in a marriage – a hot, home-made meal.”

She also says that she loves to make food for her daughter and constantly trys out new recipes and experimenting with new dishes for her and Rogers.

‘May all being everywhere be happy and free and may the thought, words and actions of my life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all’.

Wyatt has a cosmetics line as well. After splitting from the group Pussycat Dolls, she launched a lovely make up range called Beautiful Movements Cosmetics.

She is one of those celebrities who have a knack for tattoos. She has a long tattoo engraved on the back of the neck. The text is in Sanskrit which says,  ‘May all being everywhere be happy and free and may the thought, words and actions of my life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all’. She also has a small lizard tattoo on her lower stomach and just above it, she has another tattoo of a word which reads Thx FRANK with number 6 is written in pink just close to it.
