Former Model Peta Todd and Cyclist Mark Cavendish Pregnant with their Second Child

Former English model Peta Todd’s feet are not on the ground these days. Why? Because she is pregnant with her second child with her star cyclist husband Mark Cavendish. Peta announced the news of her pregnancy via instagram four months ago. She posted a selfie of herself showing off her growing baby bump and captioned, “Think I might have left it too late to start legs, bums & tums! #anothercavendish #iamabarrel.”

Her fans and followers congratulated her with best wishes and Peta responded back to them in her twitter page saying, “Thanks for all the lovely messages my lovelies. Wasn't straight forward from the start so kept it 'mum' so to speak, but over half way now.” Both Peta and her husband Mark are in the Cloud nine right now.

Peta, who is a model and a Page 3 girl, has a son of nine named Finnbar from her previous relationship. She married her second husband Mark in 2013 with whom she has a three year old daughter named Delilah Grace. The British beauty who is involved in the charity called Help For Heroes met him in one of her charity show in 2010. The charity is active in helping and providing assistance to the British Armed Force who have been wounded, injured or become sick while working in different parts of the world. Peta who is very fond of cycling, has cycled 400 miles (640 km) in five days raising more than £3,000 through sponsorship and a further £4,000 by auctioning her bicycle and cycling shorts on the last day of her ride for the Help for Heroes charity. So this might be the reason why the celebrated cyclist’s heart fell for this glamorous beauty. He proposed to her in 2012.

Now that the couple is expecting their second child, Mark is providing every kind of care and support she needs. If you don’t know then let me tell you, despite being mother of two, Peta has gone through a process of removing a small section of her cervix. That means she has a higher risk of miscarriage during pregnancy than normal women. The procedure took place just a few weeks before her wedding day. She said that,  she could not enjoy her wedding  like other normal bridesas she was in and out of the hospital very often. This hot diva who started her career at the age of 18 told about her cancer scare in an interview with the SUN. She revealed how she avoided taking the smear test which is offered freely to the women in England aged 25 to 49 every three years. She said that if she had lingered for few more years then it would have landed her in the hospital. She regrets her carelessness and encourages every woman to have regular smear test.

Despite her condition, she has managed to give birth to her daughter without any complications. The to-be mother was at the height of her career as a page 3 girl in Sun newspaper and in magazine called Zoo. But now she has quit her job to take care of herself. To avoid any kind of problem, Peta is maintaining a healthy diet and has been posting lots of pictures of her baby bump. We wish her a very healthy delivery.
