A PR for Matthew Weiner replied the statement and claimed that Weiner does not remember saying the comment. He said:

He does not remember saying this comment nor does it reflect a comment he would say to any colleague.

You might know, Gordon grabbed a writing Emmy for her work on Mad Men, but since then she has not worked on the TV after she was let go from the Mad Men staff.

Gordon recalls the freezing moment but could not report the remark to anyone for fear of losing her job. She then now shared the experience following the sexual assault allegations revealed against Harvey Weinstein.

Gordon added that Weiner threatened and devalued after he remarked upon seeing her naked. She said that the incident took her confidence in her writing ability.

She also shared an Emmy win with Weiner as co-writer.
