Former Liverpool footballer Harry Kewell might be Watford Football Club coach, the former player has his own academy

Watford Football Club has been hoping to hire former Liverpool winger Harry Kewell. This Australian football legend is being approached by Watford to coach their Under 21 team. The former Liverpool winger retired from professional football last year.

The Hornets are very eager to have him as a coach cum trainer. Kewell has been running his own junior football academy known as Harry Kewell Academy where he has been training young footballers. He retired after a twenty years long soccer career. He started playing football at the age of four and made his debut in the game against Chile in 1996 where his scored his first ever goal.He has scored 17 international goals in his career. He is considered one of the best Australian football players of all time and was also named Australia’s greatest player. So if Watford gets hold of this extraordinary footballer, then their Under 21 football team can surely make a mark in the field.

The Hornets are not the only one who are keen to hire Kewell as a coach. Kewell’s former club Liverpool, with whom he won the Champions League in 2005, also has an eye on this Aussie player. They have shown an interest in taking him back in the youth coaching capacity. But Watford looks more confident in winning the bet. These two teams are trying to hire Kewell but he has set his plans already. This Liverpool winger has a dream of managing his former team in near future. No sooner has he retired that he has already set his sights on the post of the manager cum coach. This retired player aged 36 has been doing coaching badges this year and hopes to coach the team very soon.

He told Fox Sports Australia: “I would love to coach Liverpool. I'm sure every player and every manager out there would love to manage probably the biggest club in the world. I'm no different; it's a great club but you have to be worthy of it. But football and coaching are chalk and cheese and you have to go back to square one and learn again.”

Our best wishes to all three of them.

Harry Kewell is married to Sheree Murphy. His wife is a English soap opera actress. Like Shakira and Victoria Beckham, Murphy is often considered a footballer’s wife with her own success story. She is also a TV presenter who has appeared in various TV series and reality shows. She is best known for her roles as Tricia Dingle in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, Eva Strong in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks and Dakota Davies in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. This lovely couple has four children, a son and three daughters. They live in their house or should we say Brighton mansion in Melbourne, Australia.

Murphy opened up about her personal life and her feelings towards Kewell’s female fans. She said that in her 15 years of married life many girls had tried to steal her man from her.

“It’s not nice when any girl comes up to your fella and comes on to them, whether they’re in the public eye or not,” she said to Mirror.

“My husband has never been the sort to go out and live it large, so I’ve always been quite lucky and haven’t had that many bad experiences.

“But I’ve had a few rows with a few girls who have hit on him right in front of me, although that was more back in the day."

She adds: “Nowadays, I’m obviously a lot more polite and don’t really get into situations like that.”

Kewell who has a colorful tattoo on his left hand is famous for his ever changing hairstyles. During his active years, he flaunted his long hair which he usually tied back in a short ponytail and now after the retirement he has adopted a short yet cool haircut. He is very popular in twitter and instagram as well. We all hope that Kewell would achieve the height of success as a coach like he did as a player.
