Former Aston Villa And Bolton Defender Jlloyd Samuel Dies In Car Crash On School Run At 37

Former English Premier League footballer Jlloyd Samuel died in a car accident at High Legh near Warrington while returning to home after dropping children to school. Seconds after the crash Samuel’s car engulfed in flames.

Jlloyd Samuel, the former English player who played for Aston Villa and Bolton has died at the age of 37.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of our former player Jlloyd Samuel at the age of just 37 in a car accident,” Aston Villa FC tweet. “Our players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect tonight and our thoughts are with his friends and family at this very difficult time.”

A source added, he involved in a collision with a van at High Legh near Warrington on Tuesday, May 15 while returning home after dropping his kids at school and in seconds his car engulfed in flames.  The emergency that arrived at the scene was unable to save him. He was pronounced dead at the crashed location.

The seriously injured van driver of age 54 was immediately rushed towards the hospital.

Born In Trinidad and Tobago Samuel moved to England where he represented London school boys teams and played junior football for Senrab, the club has produced popular player including Sol Campbell and John Terry.

The devastated family member of the former player has also paid emotional tribute following the fatal crash.
