Facts you should know about Topher Grace in Spiderman

Venom was not exactly the main super villain when it comes to Spiderman movies. Maybe Topher Grace got introduced at the wrong time.

We agree that Venom might have the potential of being a great super villain. The movie, however, had too much antagonist, complicated plot and unnecessary steps that made the series lost its next sequel.

Topher too was obviously a wrong choice. Compared to the ruthless and violent Venom, Topher was just the opposite. They should have taken their time to choose the right cast for the job.

Grace, who himself was a big Spiderman fan was excited to work with Sam Raimi, Tobey Maguire and James Franco who had given two hit movies

.

These guys – James and Tobey and Kirsten and Sam - have the biggest movie of all time, like twice, so I was nervous to come in like the new kid, and he couldn't have been more warm and open.

Despite the movie receiving poor reviews, it did fairly well on box office. Grace too thinks that movie was a success despite the criticisms.

“…He (Sam) was like the president of a small country — by the way, it had the gross national income of a small country, too. I have huge respect for him. I think, on a whole, he did such a fantastic job." said Grace in an interview.

With Sandman and Green Goblin already introduced as villains, cramming Venom in the movie was unnecessary that cost Sam Raimi his sequels. No comment on Peter Parker’s dance.
