Ethan Couch sentenced to two years in jail.

Ethan Couch aka “Affluenza teen” was ordered to serve 720 days in jail by Judge Wayne Salvant, after he violated his juvenile probation fled to Mexico along with his mother.

Couch was 16 at the time and driving at three times the legal intoxication limit for adult drivers. Investigators said he rammed his pickup truck into a crowd of people trying to help a stranded motorist. 

The Judge ordered Couch to serve 180 days in jail for each life he took on the 2013 drink and drive case that killed four people and left several injured. Couch used Affluenza as his defense, but eventually violated his probation and fled to Mexico. People commented on his jail sentence on Twitter.

Couch, who turned 19 this year will be transferred to an adult jail where he will complete his 720 days sentence.
