Jones not only won the Xfinity Series race, but he also took a massive bonus of $100,000 from the series’ Dash-4-Cash

program. This is his second victory for this season.

As we all know that Jones is a well-accomplished champion. He led the race-high 76 laps in his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. He was riding high for the win until vigilance came up with 11 laps remaining. The yellow flag ate up Jones’ lead.

He even admitted being worried. At first I couldn’t see how many came to pit road, I was a little anxious to see how many came and how many stayed out,” he said. “Fortunately enough stayed out to make it viable for us to win.”

Jones didn’t stress when the caution came out and instead just tried to focus on winning the race.

“It’s not the first time it’s happened to me, unfortunately,” Jones said of the late flag. “If I remember the first time, I was pretty upset and this time I was pretty calm and collected and wasn’t too worried about it. I knew we had a good car and knew that as long as we got a decent restart, we would be able to hold it off."
