70-year- Diane, a former model, was married to her husband Mike on April, 1988 at Martha's Vineryard, for over 25 years. The duo first met in 1986 in a lounge at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris, France. The couple didn’t have any children but she was a step-mother to two daughters and a son from Mike's previous relationships. His relationship to Diane was the longest in all of his failed marriages.

Her husband, Academy award winner for 1966 movie Who's Afraid of Virignia Wolf, was previously married three times. He has a daughter from his second wife, Daisy Nichols. His third marriage, which lasted until 1986, produced two children, a son named Max who is an actor and an independent film director, and a daughter named Jenny. Mike was grandfather to four grandkids.

Mike, best known for his direction skills for the 1967 classic movie The Gradute, lost his life due to cardiac arrest at his home in Manhattan on November 19, 2014. He was 83 years of age at the time of his death. The news was confirmed by ABC News president James Goldston. It has also been reported that her husband has left a fortune - $20 million for his children and wife!

The funeral was conducted nearby Frank Campbell's home. According to Daily Mail, celebrity figures such as Meryl Steep and her husband Don Gummer, Whoopi Goldeberg, actress Natalie Portman, journalist Liz Smith, CBS journalist Lesley Stahl were present at the memorial.

It was not only her husband she lost, but the 2007 Robert F. Kennedy Award winner also had to bid farewell to his mother who was 94 years, just a month before Mike Nichols death.

Diane, who is the 2000 Daytime Emmy Award winner, first made an outdoor appearance few days later after her beloved husband's death. Diane, a former family to Good Morning America, was accompanied by her step son Max to Utitarian Church for all Souls at New York City.

Diane, with such a brave soul, according to Daily Mail, is doing her best to get back on her feet after such a heartfelt tragedy. Daine, who took a step down from the anchor chair of ABC World News in Septmeber 2014, is focusing on creating specials and carrying out high profile-interviews. Diane has been working on her 20/20 show and is also busy with ABC.

Diane also launched her own documentary "The Untold Story of the Sound of Music" alongside English actress Jules Andrew in March 2015.

Diane Saywer - In a relationship after husband's death?

According to Page Six, on March, 2016, Diane, 70, was seen having a cozy dinner with her former beau senator Bill Bradley, whom they met since college. The duo were enjoying their champagne at Molos, an expensive, high class restaurant in New Jersey. Bradely, 73, a former professional NBA player, took the courtesy to pay the bill.

Diane, who is a widow, dated Bradley back in their college days. Bradley is also a divorcee with a daughter.

Both the parties denied any comments on this matter - Guess this would remain a mystery as to if there is something romantic in between these two!
