Composer/Director Jeff Richmond is more than just the man married to wife, Tina Fey!!!

In Hollywood, it is not surprising when we see clash of egos. It has come as an obstacle in many relationships which has ultimately resulted to separation.

Having such a successful wife as Tina Fey could have created such problems for Jeff Richmond. While Fey has amassed a net worth of an estimated $45 million, Richmond’s net worth is reported to be $3 million. The disparity of their success is made clear by these numbers. But the couple have managed to somehow stick it out and maintain a successful marriage lasting more than a decade.

And the sheer achievements of his wife has not eclipsed Richmond's status whatsoever. He is a successful director, composer and producer in his own rights.

Richmond has worked with wife Tina Fey on projects like Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, and the film Baby Mama. Richmond first left SNL in 2006 to produce and compose music for 30 Rock. Honing his acting skills, he also appeared as an extra on the 30 Rock as the character Alfonso Disperioso. And later in 2010, Richmond directed the five episodes: “Argus”, “Plan B”, “The Ballad of Kenneth Parcell”, “Today You Are a Man”, and “A Goon’s Deed in a Weary World” for the same show.

As a composer, he has composed the score to the film Baby Mama, which starred his wife, Tina Fey, opposite her Golden Globes winning co-star Amy Poehler. He also played a big part in creating the Garrettsville Community Players in his home town while contributing to music. And while attending Kent State University, he co-authored a number of musicals.

His works have also been recognized. He was nominated for a 1998 Joseph Jefferson Award for Director of a Revue for "Promise Keepers, Losers Weepers", at the Second City Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. This was followed by a nomination for the 1999 Joseph Jefferson Award for Director of a Revue for "The Revelation Will Not Be Televised" at the same Second City Theatre.

Tina and Jeff met while Tina was performing with Second City, Chicago's well known comedy troupe. Richmond was the director. From then on, the couple starting dating (in 1994). And after seven years of dating, the two married in a Greek Orthodox ceremony in 3 June 2001. The couple share two daughters, Alice and Penelope Athena.

Tina and Jeff share mutual respect and love. And it is clear from the interviews they have given. Richmond told People, "I fell in love with her very quickly. She has this caustic, biting wit that pops out occasionally, but she really does have a little-girl-from-the-suburbs kind of ambience. She’s a shy person."

When it comes to working with her husband, Fey told Readers Digest," I think that we complement each other nicely because we’re not in the same room all day. There’ll be whole days we’ll be at work and not see each other until the ride home. And we’ve been working at the same place for a long time — Second City, then SNL."

Recently an insider said, "They could talk for days. They are all about family now and they love being together and they never stop having fun." And as long as they keep doing the same, more fun is in store for them.
