Now, Chris Cuomo responded on this thought claiming that Kelly Missed in his remarks. He proclaimed:

He missed the big word, slavery

Cuomo said that it was not a crisis of conscience instead was about the slavery. He added:

Kelly is a respected guy. How he leads men and women, how he has organized, his attention to duty, that’s all true. I’ve checked it ten ways from Sunday. It’s true. But giving him credit for a political modulating ethos is false. It’s always false. The idea that he would control the president’s political instincts to play toward division was always an empty promise.

Cuomo questioned whether all these thoughts are making it the same or worse. He explains that the crisis of conscience and thinking about the monuments in a different way will make these people want to take them down and it's all bigotry of being ignored and rationalized. Adding, Kelly will not be going to make it better.
