Chris Hemsworth's 'The Huntsman: Winter's War' isn't a big hit.

All that is good in the new Huntsman movie is the costumes. The movie is flooded with negative comments from the critics and the movie is on the verge of becoming a box office fail. The Huntsman: Winter’s War, is expected to cost the Universal pictures as much as 70 million and the studio is more likely to let go of the Huntsman franchise.

The Huntsman: Winter’s War opened over the weekend with an estimated $20 million opening as compared to Snow White and the Huntsman that opened in 2012 with $56 million. The Huntsman: Winter's War, which cost $115 million to shoot, would have to bring in an estimated $325 million to break even once marketing and distribution costs are accounted for.

The movie is a very close example of what Frozen would look like with real characters in it, this is what everyone is saying.

The movie features two royal sisters, Freya (Emily Blunt), gifted with the power of freezing whatever and whomever she likes, and Ravenna, (Charlize Theron), the evil sister. The film follows Freya’s retreat to a northern kingdom after the traumatic murder of her baby daughter. In her bitterness, she trains up children kidnapped from villages within her domain to be her huntsmen, an army trained against the ‘sin’ of love.

Enter Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and Sara (Jessica Chastain), two of Freya’s huntsmen, having pledged themselves to each other in rebellion against Freya, embark together with four dwarves functioning as comic relief, on a mission to find the magic mirror that has fallen out of Snow White’s possession. Once theoretically found, they would lay it to rest in a place called ‘Sanctuary’, safe from the megalomaniacal grasp of Freya, whose acquisition of the powerful mirror would spell certain disaster for everyone.

There are bits and pieces of good parts in the movie but the movie has been poorly made and your expectations won’t match. Box office collections clearly scream a ‘NO-NO’ to this movie.
