Busy Philipps goes out for some ice-cream with her family.

American actress Busy Philipps is quite the loving mother and a total family woman.

When the actress is not busy playing the fun-loving Laurie Keller on ABC’s hit sitcom “Cougar Town”, she is busy indulging in quality time with her family.

Philipps and her husband Marc were spotted with their daughters Birdie, 7 and Cricket, 2 in a family outing in Los Angeles yesterday.

The 36-year-old actress was clad in a patterned navy shirt and denim shorts with strappy white sandals. As for accessories, she had some trendy dark shades on and carried a large material bag over her shoulders and her lovely youngest daughter Cricket holding onto her. The adorable toddler was dressed in a frilly indigo dress. Her elder daughter, Birdie seemed composed in a striped summer dress.  The dad of two kept it casual in a plain grey t-shirt, dark jeans with large turn-ups and a pair of brown shoes.

This is not the first time the family has been spotted at an outing. On late March, Philipps was spotted with her husband and her girls at a park in Los Angeles.

Busy looked breezy and spring ready in a patterned beige dress completed by leather sandals, a bright red sling purse, and a messy bun. Her baby girls were twinning in baby blue dresses while the dad kept it super simple with an orange T-shirt and jeans.

Phillips married screenwriter Marc Silverstein in 2007. The couple had their first daughter Birdie Leigh in 2008. Birdie Leigh became an older sister when the couple welcomed their second daughter Cricket Pearl in July 2013.

Busy who had once expressed skepticism about her having a second is now a very happy mama! In an interview with People, she had expressed her thoughts, “The thing that really strikes me - and everyone told me this but I didn’t understand how it was going to work - was that my heart would expand for my second child in the same way that it did for my first. I didn’t understand how I was going to love another child as much as I loved my first.” In an interview with Today, the actress said that she had difficulties managing time for work right after delivery of her second child, “I had to go back to shooting Cougar Town this season, four weeks after giving birth to Cricket, which was a little intense.” The actress had a great time in 2015 as she celebrated the launch of a comedy short she directed called A Busy Fall.Apparently the actress might be a bit more into directing as earlier this month she posted a picture of her behind the camera on Instagram.

Her next venture is as an acting role in the HBO show Vice Principals.
