Brendan Fraser Says The HFPA Dismissed His Me Too Allegation Claim As A Joke: Update

The Mummy actor Brendan Fraser claimed that former Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) president Philip Berk groped his private part at a 2003 event. And he is not happy as HFPA denies his sexual harassment claim it was a part of a joke.

Brendan Fraser still didn’t burst into laughter about what he says was a sexual harassment when the then-president of the HFPA, Philip Berk groped him in 2003 at a Hollywood luncheon.

Fraser was shocked with Berk activity and now he is totally furious when Hollywood Foreign Press Association denies the allegation reporting it a “joke” and it was nothing intended as a sexual harassment.

The star speaking to GQ, in a February “What Ever Happened to Fraser?” he revealed in that interview the episode helped damage his movie career and career success.

In a new report on Wednesday by HFPA the joint statements from the investigation parties it stated-

 “Although it was concluded that Mr. Berk inappropriately touched Mr. Fraser, the evidence supports that it was intended to be taken as a joke and not as asexual advance.”

But Fraser declined to sign the parties issued joint statements as they wouldn’t allow him to see full reports on its inquiry nor even its based methodology for reaching its Conclusion.
