Barbara Crampton's new movie 'Sun Choke' is out this August.

The indie flick Sun Choke has been a much-talked-about movie for quite some time.

Finally, the most awaited psychodrama is scheduled to release this summer on August 2016.

Written and directed by Ben Cresciman, the psychological thriller will release on August 5 in theaters and on VOD and iTunes on August 2 under Macabre label of XLrator Media.

XLrator Media has acquired the distribution rights to the thriller Sun Choke in North America. The movie has screened over a dozen festivals including FrightFest and the Stanley Film Festival.

The thriller movie Sun Choke explores the psychotic break of a young girl and the bizarre holistic treatment her manipulative caretaker subjects her to.

Iconic horror movie actress Barbara Crampton would be starring as Nanny Irma in the movie along with Sarah Hagan, Sara Malakul Lane, Evan jones, Joe Nieves and Jim Boeven.

Actress Sarah Hagan is portraying the character of a young girl Janie who is trying to recover from a violent psychotic breakdown. She is subjected each day to a strange holistic health and wellness treatment designed and enforced by her lifelong caretaker, Nanny Irma played by Barbara Crampton. But then, Janie begins to veer off the road to recovery when she develops an unsettling obsession with a young woman, Savannah played by Sarah Malakul Lane.
